Singapore Visa Eligibility for India National

As an India national, you are eligible to apply for several types of Singapore visas, based on the duration and purpose of your visit. Let's go over the different options.

  • Tourist Singapore eVisa (Multiple Entries)

    This Visa is recommended for visitors planning for a short stay in Singapore for Holiday Trips & Tourism stay etc.

    • Visa Validity: Up to 2 years (Discretion of the Embassy) from the date of issue
    • Stay Validity: Up to 30 days (Determined by the immigration) from the date of entry
    • Processing Time: 48-72 Working Hours
    • Visa Fee: USD 134.00

    List of Required Documentation for Tourist Singapore Visa Application

    Mandatory Documents

    Passport: Original Passport with one blank page and it should be valid India for at least 6 months. Handwritten passport will not be accepted. (Note - Attach all old passports, if any).

    Application Form- Form 14 A to be duly filled and signed by the applicant. One photograph should be pasted on the visa form and signed across.

    Photograph: Two matt or semi-matt finished, coloured photographs with white background and without border. It should be an 80 percent face close-up and 35mm x 45mm in size. The photograph should not be older than 3 months, scanned/ stapled, and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

    Cover LetterLetter from Applicant addressed to ‘The Visa Officer, Singapore High Commission, New Delhi, Mumbai & Chennai’ as per Jurisdiction. stating the name of the applicant, designation, passport number, purpose of visit, and duration of stay in brief (Note - The covering letter on Letterhead if the applicant is Self-Employed or on plain paper if employed. Applicant's contact number must be mentioned on the cover letter).

    Accommodation ProofHotel booking (if any).

    Occupation Proof: Personal Bank Statement of the last 3 months with 80,000/- minimum per head. Proof of business ownership or NOC from the company on its letterhead along with a copy of the employee ID card.

    Air Ticket: Confirmed Flight Tickets.

    Invitation LetterIf visiting family, relatives or friends, an invitation letter is needed from the invitee with their Singapore address, contact, FIN/NRIC number invitee with relationship details. The letter should be addressed to ‘The Visa Officer, Singapore High Commission – New Delhi’. Also, other documents including PR card copy, Passport copy (bio data pages), relationship proof, and NRIC card copy are needed

    Additional requirements

    1. In case of an unemployed, married female travelling without a husband, the husband’s financial and employment documents should be submitted. For an unemployed, young person travelling without parents, the father’s financial and employment documents should be submitted.
    2. For Minor children travelling without parents, NOC from parents with their signature proof is needed.
    3. If the spouse’s name is not endorsed in the passport, Marriage Certificate is needed.
    4. Honeymooners don’t have marriage certificates or their spouse’s name is not endorsed in their passport, a marriage confirmation letter from parents with signature proof and a wedding invitation copy are needed.
    5. For Transit Visa, an original ticket copy is required.
    6. For incentive tours, a letter from the company sponsoring the tour with the complete details of applicants and the business proof is needed.


    Jurisdiction

    Mumbai: Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Orissa.
    (Address Proof if Passport is issued from any other Jurisdiction. Any two of these - Current Electricity bill, Mobile/Landline bill, Society Letter (Original), Agreement copy of Flat, Credit Card Statement (All documents should be on Applicants Name)

    Delhi: Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Union Territories of Chandigarh, NCT of Delhi, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura

    Chennai: Applicants residing in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Pondicherry, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands are eligible to apply in Chennai Consulate. The applicants who are residing in the above locations, but their passports issued outside of the Jurisdiction need to submit a government-authorized document for address proof.
